CDC Guidelines For Cleaning Your School or Daycare

The CDC has published general guidelines for the cleaning and disinfecting of public facilities and places of business, including schools and daycares.  We follow these guidelines in all of our cleaning services.

Cleaning

• Wear disposable gloves while cleaning; do not touch your face or hair while wearing gloves to clean
• Before disinfecting, clean surfaces with soap and water
• Give extra attention to high-touch surfaces like keyboards, phones, desktops, door knobs and handles, sink faucets, toilets, countertops and light switches
• Shared items in public spaces such as computers, desks, storage units, should be cleaned after each use

Disinfecting

Use EPA-registered disinfectant products proven to be effective at killing virus-causing germs. Use only according to the instructions and pay close attention to the contact time for your disinfecting product.
